Italy is a notably long and wide Country, whose market is fragmented into a myriad of small independent stores that make distribution very different from the rest of Europe.
In order to establish a brand on the Italian market, a constant presence is required to support the sales network, to develop agreements with key-players in the distribution and align the firepower on common objectives.
I know how difficult it is to setup and engage a consistent salesforce as well as supporting it on site in order to quickly and properly respond to the market's demands. Italian agents and customers hardly speak English and you'd need a bridge to overcome not only language but also culture differences.
